If you’re looking for the best key lime pie in Orlando, you have a lot of options. We’ve scoured the internet and considered locals’ suggestions — here are 13 spots that pass the taste test.

Comfort classics

Sister Honey’s Bakery, 247 E. Michigan St.
As a James Beard nominee and the first-ever three-time World Food Championships winner, Evette Rahman didn’t come to play when she opened Sister Honey’s. Every dessert here is worth its weight in gold — but especially the key lime pie, made from scratch daily with hand-squeezed fresh lime juice.

Aunt Gingibread’s Bakery, 409 S. Park Ave., Apopka
No trip to Apopka is complete without stopping in this quaint little bakery for some homemade key lime pie. Bonus: It also bakes a key lime bar, which you can order in a 10x10 pan for big gatherings.

Winter Park Pie Company, online
Get your key lime fix delivered straight to your door from this locally-owned online bakery, founded in 2020 by Teri Blais.

Kermit’s Key Lime Shop, 1842 Patterson Ave., DeLand
Craving a little pie-riety? Just a 40-minute drive north of Orlando, this DeLand bakery offers strawberry key lime pie + coconut key lime pie. Pro tip: To make the drive even more worth it, take home a three-pack of pies, including the traditional version, for $67.

Key lime pie with fresh whipped cream

Lombardi’s key lime pie sometimes shows up on its weekly specials list for $2 off.

All in the family recipe

Lighthouse Seafood Market & Cafe, 101 N. Country Club Rd., Lake Mary
Feel like you need a whole small pie to yourself today? This cafe has your back with what it claims is “the best Key Lime Pie in the state of Florida,” made from Evelyn’s (the owner’s mother) original recipe. Everything is made fresh in the restaurant, including the real hand-whipped cream on top, and you can order a single slice, a small pie, or a full-sized pie.

Lombardi’s Seafood, 1888 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park
You may not expect the home of “Florida’s Best Seafood” to carry a stellar key lime pie — but we’re happy to announce that it does, and it’s homemade every day according to an over 60-year-old Lombardi family recipe. Bonus: At $15, this pie’s one of the cheaper options on this list.

Bars + restaurants

The Tap Room at Dubsdread, 549 Par St.
This 100-year-old restaurant is consistently found on Open Table’s awards lists, and for good reason — its key lime pie is beloved by locals and visitors alike. Bonus: Happy Hour runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every. single. day.

Paddlefish, 1670 Buena Vista Dr., Lake Buena Vista
The next time you visit Disney Springs, be sure to stop by this beloved seafood restaurant for a slice of its key lime pie with delicious torched meringue.

Smaller servings

Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery, 3213 Curry Ford Rd.
This central Florida staple has been baking its famous key lime pie since 1971. Order an individual key lime pie cup for a sweet treat you don’t have to share.

Mecatos Bakery & Cafe, 20 N. Orange Ave., Ste. 102A
We don’t know about you, but we prefer our key lime pie with a mug of Colombian coffee in hand — which is why we love Mecatos. Its mini key lime pie basket makes the perfect post-lunch pick-me-up.

Reinvented takes

Gideon’s Bakehouse, 3201 Corrine Dr.
More of a cookie consumer than a pie person? This bakery’s seasonal key lime chocolate chip cookie, its version of a chocolate-dipped pie, is sure to satisfy you — each cookie weighs nearly half a pound.

iCafe de Paris, 8465 International Dr.
When in Paris... still get the key lime dessert. This one’s a decadent mini cake with three layers each of frosting and cake, making it a fun twist on the traditional pie.

The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, 6000 Universal Blvd.
Hear us out: Sour cream ice cream, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and lime sugar. That’s all it takes for this over-the-top steampunk restaurant to turn the classic pie into a marvelous milkshake.
