Where would chefs from “The Bear” work in Orlando?

We came up with where we think chefs from the popular TV show “The Bear” would work if they lived in Orlando.

If you’re into popular shows, chances are you’ve seen “The Bear.” For those who don’t know, “The Bear” follows Chef Carmen, who takes over his brother’s dive restaurant and then decides to make it a Michelin star-winning spot.

We got to thinking… if chefs from “The Bear” lived in Orlando, where would they work? Here’s what we came up with.

Chef Carmen (aka Carmy) | Domu

Carmie’s fine-dining experience and ability to push the envelope immediately made us think of Domu. He and Sean “Sonny” Nguyen could collab on some fabulous dishes.

Chef Sydney | Sorekara

Chef Sidney is an innovator, and we think she would love the challenge of Sorekara’s constantly-changing tasting menu inspired by the 72 micro seasons of Japan.

Chef Marcus | Better Than Sex

Hear us out. We know Chef Marcus can be a little gruff and hot-headed, but his dessert game is out of this world. We think he could bring some major talent to this dessert spot, and he would have fun with the spot’s unique ingredients.

Chef Bettina (aka Tina) | The Monroe

Chef Tina starts off begrudging change, but eventually she realizes she loves to cook and wants to learn. We think she would enjoy working at The Monroe — plus, it’s located near UCF and Valencia College’s shared campus, so she can easily commute to and from culinary school.
