🏈 Orlando scores big

Get excited, Jags fans — Orlando could soon be the team’s temporary home turf.

While EverBank Stadium undergoes its $1.4 billion makeover, the Jacksonville Jaguars intend to use Camping World Stadium as their home field for the 2027 season. The move still needs a green light from 75% of the NFL’s 32 owners, with a vote expected during a virtual meeting in early December.

Orlando City Council member Shan Rose told WKMG-TV she’s “been advocating” for the Jaguars to come to O-Town, though the team also considered proposals from the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville and Daytona International Speedway.

So, how did Orlando score the win? Likely thanks to Camping World Stadium’s own $400 million renovation, which “will effectively render the entire stadium completely new” and boost its capacity to more than 65,000 by fall 2027.
