I’m in Galveston, Texas this weekend to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. We’re most excited to eat dinner at the Grand Galvez, a gorgeous hotel that’s been standing since 1911. For perspective, Orlando’s oldest operating restaurant, Linda’s La Cantina, didn’t open its doors until 1947.
